Architecture of Josef Hoffman in Foreign Historiography of the 1990-2000s


The article covers the representation of foreign sources and references in a period of1990-2000s having under review the creative work by Josef Hoffmann in the context of Austrian architecture in the first quarter of the 20th century. The author focuses on the basic tendencies of historiography of this problem, description of individual approaches of contemporary researchers and the analyses of related disciplines involved in studying of the architect’s heritage.
